For a long time, Cameroonian national team striker Albert Meyong Ze, who has been in the sights of Edinburgh, is moving from "Belenenses" to Valencia, announced the Spanish club on Tuesday evening.
"I have always dreamed of playing in the Spanish championship, which I consider the strongest in the world," the Cameroonian said at a press conference. "I cannot promise an exact number of goals, but I can promise to work very hard and help the club achieve its goals."
25-year-old A. Meyong was the top scorer in the Portuguese championship last season, scoring 17 goals.
It is reported that the former "Ravenna" and "Vitoria Setubal" player is moving to "Levante" for around 2 million euros, and has signed a three-year contract with the Valencia club.
At the press conference, A. Meyong was introduced alongside 28-year-old Brazilian defender Alvaro, who moved from "Zaragoza" and signed a three-year contract.
"Levante" finished third in the Spanish "Segunda Division" last season and earned the right to return to "La Liga."
