One of the strongest Italian clubs acquired the defender of the Italian national team from another club. The 25-year-old Italian joined "Rossoneri" for an undisclosed fee and signed a four-year contract.
Although D. Bonera has represented the Italian national team 11 times, he did not participate in the recently concluded World Cup in Germany.
D. Bonera arrived at "Parma" in 2002 from the "Brescia" club and played 114 matches in the "Serie A" championship over four years.
The talented defender was also actively pursued by Liverpool, but "Milan" managed to win the race for his signature, and he should be officially presented at the Italian club's stadium on Saturday.
D. Bonera should fill the gap left by the departure of the Dutch national team defender Jaap Stam from the "Milan" ranks.
