On Monday, the last day of registration for new players in the "A League," Vilnius announced contracts signed with Slovenian youth national team striker Maksut Azizi and former Lithuanian national team player Egidijus Juška, who plays as a striker or defender. The contract with the Slovenian is for 2.5 years, while the one with the experienced Lithuanian will be valid for one year.

In the team "Vėtra," M.Azizi will play with the number 31 on his shirt. The Slovenian initially participated in the Vilnius club's trial and made a successful debut with "Vėtra" in matches against "Vilnius," leaving a good impression on the team's coach Aleksandras Tarchanovas.

"Azizi integrated well into the game, fought for every ball, created an opportunity for Kuznecovas, who was able to score after the newcomer's pass," said A. Tarchanovas.

The twenty-year-old Slovenian, originally from Albania, will start his Legionnaire career in "Vėtra." So far, the forward has played in his homeland - starting his career at one of the country's strongest clubs, Ljubljana's "Olimpija," but after the club's bankruptcy last year, he spent the season at the "Rudar Velenje" club and scored four times in the national championship. Maksut Azizi, in the ranks of the Slovenian youth national team, has played 22 matches and scored 8 goals.

At the age of 31, he has represented many clubs - at the beginning of his career, he played for Vilnius' "Geležinis Vilkas," the former Šiauliai's "Sakalas," and Vilnius' "Paneris," then in 1998 and 1999 with Šiauliai's "Kareda" and Vilnius' "Žalgiris" clubs, he became a Lithuanian champion twice. Most of his career, the Lithuanian spent abroad - in clubs in Estonia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. Since 2004, the forward played for Tallinn's "TVMK," and recently he played in Azerbaijan, in the team "Baku Barabach."
