On Monday, the Lithuanian national team and St. Petersburg forward were examined by doctors, who determined that the injury he suffered in Sunday's match against Moscow's "Dynamo" is less severe than initially thought.
Doctors were concerned that the player may have a meniscus injury, but no signs of such injury were found. In two days, the Lithuanian will meet with specialists who will determine the severity of the injury and the period of time the forward will be unable to play.
