France national team defender Franck Ribery has returned to training at Marseille and stated that he will remain in the team as his contract is still valid for another four years.
"I have a contract that expires in four years, and it means that for those four years I will continue to represent Marseille. I love this club, the people, and the fans," said the talented 23-year-old player.
French champions Lyon, London's Arsenal, and, according to Marseille, Manchester United were interested in this defender, who played a crucial role in representing the French national team at this year's World Cup, where "Les Blues" had to admit Italy's superiority after a penalty shootout in the final.
