The Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers continue to strengthen and on Thursday evening announced the acquisition of Slovak national team striker Filip Sebo from the Vienna side "Austria."
"The player clearly showed his desire to play for Rangers," the club statement said. "When he heard of Paul Le Guen's interest (Rangers' coach), he himself asked the Austria management to allow his dream to come true."
The 22-year-old F.Sebo won the double with the Vienna club last season - the Austrian national championship and the country's cup.
Although the financial details of the transfer are not disclosed, it is believed that the Scottish club paid around £1.8 million for the player, and the striker signed a four-year contract with Rangers.
F.Sebo will join his new teammates on Friday and is expected to make his debut in the Scottish championship match against "Dundee United" on Saturday.
