As reported by La Coruña on Friday, the club has brought back Spanish youth national team defender Antonio Barragán to his homeland, who has signed a five-year contract with "Deportivo".
"Deportivo" claims that they paid one million euros to "Liverpool" for the player, and in addition, the English club retained the right to repurchase the player after two or three years for 700 thousand euros.
The 18-year-old right-back defender moved to "Liverpool" in July 2005, when he decided not to sign a professional contract with his nurturing club "Sevilla".
Playing for "Liverpool", A. Barragan appeared in only one match - he came on as a substitute in August last year in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round match against CSKA in Sofia.
A. Barragan was a member of the Spanish youth national team (under 19), which recently became champions in the European Championship held in Poland.
