For the second week in a row, Glasgow Rangers lost points in the Scottish Premier League - this time, Paulo Le Guen's players failed to overcome the outsider Dunfermline club after goalkeeper Lionel Letizi's mistake.

1 - 1

63' [0 - 1] Thomas Buffel

69' [1 - 1] Owen Morrison

In the first half, Rangers midfielder Thomas Buffel had two good opportunities to score, but initially he missed the goal due to defenders' mistakes, and later his goal was saved by goalkeeper Roddy McKenzie. The hosts only threatened once with a shot from Stephen Simmons, but it didn't pose major problems for Lionel Letizi.

However, in the second half, T.Buffel finally managed to score - receiving the ball from Jeremy Clement, he defeated R.McKenzie with a precise shot. But Rangers' lead didn't last long, as six minutes later L.Letizi failed to catch the ball and in the confusion O.Morrison managed to score. Both teams later missed opportunities to snatch a victory, so Rangers had to settle for a draw for the second week in a row.
