For the second week in a row, Glasgow Rangers lost points in the Scottish Premier League - this time, Paulo Le Guen's players failed to overcome the outsider Dunfermline club after goalkeeper Lionel Letizi's mistake.

In the first half, Rangers midfielder Thomas Buffel had two good opportunities to score, but initially he missed the goal due to defenders' mistakes, and later his goal was saved by goalkeeper Roddy McKenzie. The hosts only threatened once with a shot from Stephen Simmons, but it didn't pose major problems for Lionel Letizi.
