On Tuesday evening in the capital of Catalonia, the traditional Joan Gamper Cup match took place. Demonstrating a very attractive game, "Barcelona" crushed the German champions Bayern Munich 4-0.

A few minutes later, Deco made a long pass forward, S. Eto'o controlled the ball with his chest and struck it powerfully towards goal, but this time the ball flew over the crossbar. Soon after, a penalty was awarded for a foul on L. Messi - Brazilian Ronaldinho sent a brilliant shot into the top corner of the goal, while Oliver Kahn did not react to this shot.
The defense of "Bayern" continued to look surprisingly weak and just two minutes later O. Kahn once again pulled the ball out of the net - as S. Eto'o, in the middle of the penalty area, passed the ball to Ronaldinho, who struck the ball strongly towards goal. O. Kahn managed to save this shot, but S. Eto'o was the first to react to the rebound and easily doubled the score.
"Barcelona's" domination continued and after a few more minutes the result became overwhelming - "Bayern" defenders trying to clear the ball away from the goal hit Deco, S. Eto'o was first to the loose ball, passed it past the goalkeeper and sent the ball into the empty net for the second time.
After the break, Frank Rijkaard replaced all eleven players, but "Barca" continued to dominate. Seven minutes into the second half, J. Saviola scored - Ludovic Giuly "outplayed" O. Kahn in the penalty area, passed the ball to J. Saviola, who easily directed the ball into the goal.
After this goal, the game calmed down a bit and Bayern began to recover - after playing just over an hour, L. Podolski found himself in a good position in the penalty area, but his shot missed the target. Shortly after, J. Dos Santos dangerously entered the penalty area, but the new "Barcelona" defender Lilian Thuram managed to take the ball away.
A little later, "Bayern" took several dangerous penalty shots, but the attempts of Bastian Schweinsteiger and L. Podolski were blocked by the substitute "Barcelona" goalkeeper Alberto Jorquera. The match ended with a score of 4-0, "Barcelona" secured the victory and demonstrated excellent form ahead of the UEFA Super Cup match against the UEFA Cup winners "Sevilla" club scheduled for Friday.
