Although on Thursday in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup, "FBK Kaunas" secured a narrow victory against "Randers" from Denmark, Lithuanians did not have enough to advance to the next stage of the tournament.
Since in the first match in Denmark "Randers" won 3-1, the loss in Kaunas allowed them to progress to the next stage with an overall score of 3-2.
In Thursday's match, the only goal was scored by Gvidas Juška in the 72nd minute from the penalty spot.
