On Sunday, the last matches of the fifth round of the Scottish football championship were played, where "Kilmarnock" and "Rangers" competed. The visitors from Glasgow took the lead twice, but failed to keep the lead both times and played out a 2-2 draw.
For the first time, "Rangers" took the lead at the end of the first half, with Kris Boyd, who was in good form, scoring. At the beginning of the second half, Frazer Wright headed in a corner kick into the goal and equalized the score.
"Rangers" continued to fight for the victory and a few minutes before the end of the match, after a pass from Dado Prso, Kris Boyd sent the ball into the net again with a low shot, putting his team in the lead once more. However, "Rangers" couldn't take all three points - in injury time, the referee spotted Alan Hutton's handball in the penalty area and awarded a penalty kick to the hosts from eleven meters. Steven Naismith successfully converted it and "Kilmarnock" snatched a point.
These draw meant that after five rounds, "Rangers" share third place and are one point behind the leading "Hearts" and "Celtic".
