As reported on Tuesday by an English Premier League club, Iranian national team midfielder Andranik Teymourian has signed a two-year contract with the club.
The 23-year-old player moved to Bolton from the Iranian Abu Moslem team after receiving permission to work in Great Britain.
In the Iranian national team, A. Teymourian has played 11 matches, three of which he recently played in the World Cup.
"Andranik is a talented player and I hope he will be able to adapt to the Premier League in England," said the team's head coach Sam Allardyce. "He impressed many people during the World Cup and I am pleased that we beat many competitors who also wanted this player's signature."
A. Teymourian, who made his debut in the national team in last year's friendly match against Libya, which the Iranians won 4-0, is included in the national team for the Asian Cup qualifying matches against South Korea and Syria.
