Yesterday, as he left for vacation in Italy, head coach Claudio Ranieri stated that his future at the London club is still unknown.

This season, he led the club to a high second place. But the owner of "Chelsea" and Russian millionaire R. Abramovich were disappointed with the second place. And he is looking for someone who could replace C. Ranieri.

Head coach Jose Mourinho is the main candidate to take Ranieri's place at the club. Meanwhile, C. Ranieri says that R. Abramovich does not reveal all his plans. Everything should become clear after the UEFA Champions League final, which will take place on May 25th in Gelsenkirchen.

"I don't know what's going on in this club now. My contract with the club is valid until 2007. I have already thanked the players for this season and I don't know what will happen to me next. It's very disappointing for me," said C. Ranieri.

"Now it's important for me to stay calm and wait for my fate. If Roman wants me, I think he will ask me to stay. I am a bit disappointed with the current situation at the club, but I can already thank Roman for the work he has given me."

"I am very dedicated to this club. I want to work only here. But if I realize that I am no longer needed here, I will look for work elsewhere. Now I am going to Italy to enjoy summer vacation. I really hope to come back here again."
