The London club managed to rent out the Donetsk goalkeeper Jan Lastuvka on Thursday before the transfer window closed.
The Czech national team goalkeeper will represent the team coached by Chris Coleman until the end of this season.
It was agreed that the player could sign a long-term contract with an English club, and the team's coach added that there is enough room in his team as they refused the services of another Czech goalkeeper, Jaroslav Drobny, in the summer.
The 24-year-old J. Lastuvka joined Shakhtar in 2004.
