The club strengthens its defensive line. As the club announces, the team has rented the defender DaMarcus Beasley from the United States and Eindhoven for one season.
The 24-year-old defender started his career at Chicago Fire, from where he was bought by the multiple Dutch champion PSV. The player helped the new team reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League in 2005, where after a dramatic duel they lost to the Italian giants Milan.
Wearing the national team jersey, the player played 57 matches and participated in the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan, as well as in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
Meanwhile, Manchester City allowed the defender Antonio Sibierski to move to Newcastle.
The 32-year-old player moved to Glenn Roeder's team for an undisclosed amount after not fitting into the future plans of Manchester City's head coach Stuart Pearce.
In three seasons at City, the player scored 11 goals in 92 matches.
Prior to his attacking midfielder role, the defender played for Lille, Auxerre, Nantes, and Lens clubs.
