According to Brazilian clubs, one of the most powerful English clubs in London acquired 18-year-old defender Denilson for 3.4 million pounds sterling.
Denilson, wearing the "Sao Paulo" kit, played 12 matches and is the captain of the Brazilian youth (U-19) team.
"The English club paid 3.4 million pounds sterling and acquired Denilson, a defender from the "Sao Paulo" team," - writes the Brazilian club's website.
Whether Denilson will actually move to the London club will depend on permission to work in the UK. It is also believed that the player will be loaned to a lower league club where he can gain experience.
