England's national team coach Sven Goran Eriksson announced the preliminary 23-player squad for the European Football Championship in Portugal.
As expected, there were no surprises in the squad. The coach, as promised, will take 4 strikers to Portugal, closing the door on Alan Smith from Manchester United and Jermain Defoe from Tottenham.
