The scandalous London coach Jose Mourinho denied the rumors that he would leave the team if he wins the Champions League.

In the spring of 2004, the Portuguese coach already won the most prestigious European club trophy with Porto, but a few months later he moved to Chelsea. The team that replaced him at the Portuguese club, Victor Fernandez, won the Intercontinental Cup in the same year, and are considered the strongest team in the world.

J.Mourinho admitted that he does not intend to repeat a similar "mistake" in London.

"If one day I win the Champions League again, I also want to win the Intercontinental Cup and I will not allow another coach to do it," the strategist said.

Chelsea will start their journey towards the Champions League on Monday with a match at home against Werder Bremen. The new defender of the London club, Dutchman Khalid Boulahrouz, noted the threat posed by the opponent's forward Miroslav Klose.

In this Group A, they will also play against Barcelona and Levski Sofia.
