According to the German media, it has already been decided that Ottmar Hitzfeld will leave his position as team coach this summer. The main candidate to replace him is coach Magath.
During his six years of work, he helped Bayern win 8 titles, including once winning the Champions League tournament and reaching the final twice.
The main reason for his dismissal is cited as the poor season of the team. Bayern does not yet have a guaranteed spot in the Champions League and no longer has a chance to win the German championship.
It is believed that Ottmar Hitzfeld will now take on the role of technical director and Felix Magath, the current coach of Stuttgart, will become Bayern's new coach.
