After extending the contract with safe from Israel Yossi Benayoun, the London club also announced that it is extending contracts with two more team footballers - forward Marlon Harewood and goalkeeper Jimmy Walker.
The 27-year-old forward, after a successful previous season, agreed to stay in the "hammers" team until 2010. M. Harewood scored 14 goals in the last Premier League season and was the team's most productive player.
"I enjoy playing for West Ham club, and this is where I want to stay," the footballer officially told the club's website.
For one more season - until 2008 - the 33-year-old goalkeeper Jimmy Walker also extended his contract. He is happy to continue representing the London club despite being only the third team goalkeeper after Roy Carroll and Robert Green.
"I understand that there are two better goalkeepers ahead of me, but I am happy to be here. I hope we can all help the team succeed this season," said the goalkeeper, adding that his warm relationship with the fans was one of the main reasons he decided to stay in the club for another year.
J. Walker's best years were spent at Walsall club, which is currently competing in the fourth division of the English league.
