Team and France goalkeeper Benoît Pedretti will sign a contract with the team after the UEFA Cup final. The value of the contract is about 4.5 million euros (more than 15.5 million litas).
Pedretti, who helped Montbéliard win the French Cup this year, had a contract until 2006, but decided to leave the club this year, where he spent his entire career.
The team was also interested in the player. However, Pedretti chose the Marseille team: "That's what my heart told me. Here, 60 thousand fans gather for the matches. I dreamed that I could play in such a stadium at least once. Now it will be like that for every match. Also, I simply wanted to move up to a higher level," says the 24-year-old French footballer.
The player will sign a 4-year contract with the Marseille team, according to the club's president Christophe Bouchet.
