The best European football clubs have already started competing for the title of the best European club. Lithuanian football fans, who used to be satisfied with just a few of these matches being broadcasted, this time have a unique opportunity to watch the entire tournament.
VIASAT digital satellite TV, for customers of the Gold package, will show all 125 championship matches live. On match day, 8 games will be shown. They will be broadcasted by Viasat Sport 2, Viasat Sport 3, Viasat Sport, and Viasat Xtra channels. The most interesting matches of the day with Lithuanian commentary will also be shown live on Tango TV.
A specially created interactive user menu will help viewers navigate and find their desired matches faster. With one press of a remote control button on the TV screen, viewers will be able to select and change broadcasts.
VIASAT digital satellite TV is the only legal paid satellite TV operator in the Baltic states. At the end of June 2006, the operator had 50,000 clients in the Baltic states.
