The "Premier League" club in England confirmed that forward Luis Boa Morte will be out of action for six weeks due to a broken cheekbone.

The team believes that the 29-year-old player will not be able to help them for the next six weeks, as he suffered the injury in a head-to-head collision with his teammate Heidar Helguson.

"He can't play with a mask to protect him because the injury is very serious," said Fulham coach Chris Coleman. "The wound is too deep, so we can't do anything about it, which means he won't be able to help us for about six weeks."

L. Boa Morte is the latest Fulham player to be included in the list of injured players in the English championship, having played only 5 matches.

Papa Bouba Diop, Jimmy Bullard, Ahmad Elrich, Simon Elliott, Mark Pembridge, and Philippe Christanval are all currently recovering from injuries.

However, influential defender P. Diop and versatile P. Christanval could already appear in the 6th round of the Premier League against champions Chelsea this Saturday.
