A few days ago rumors about Turin's interest in Marius Stankevicius appeared in the press, which was unheard of news for the football player himself. The defender of the Lithuanian national team told the newspaper "L.T." that such rumors are pleasing, but a transfer to another club is not on his mind at the moment.
"The transfer window, so-called 'Calcio mercato', has already ended, so the main concern now is to play well in the autumn and contribute to the team's victories," he said to the newspaper.
Marius Stankevicius admitted that concrete offers for his transfer in the summer were made by the clubs "Lazio", "Torino" and "Livorno", but the leaders of "Brescia" decided to wait.
"Football is a business. The leaders of 'Brescia' decided that they will sell me for a better price after six months or a year. I can't really influence this situation myself - I have a valid contract," the football player said.
