Argentinian national team coach Alfio Basile announced his team lineup for the friendly match against Spain.
Roberto Ayala, who represents Valencia, has also been called up to the team, and if he plays in the match, he will become the player with the most appearances for the national team, surpassing Diego Simeone's record of 106 matches.
The team will be supported by the new signings from West Ham: Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez, with "Man Utd" defender Gabriel Heinze and Milan's "Inter" forward Hernan Crespo also included in the team.
After a six-year break, Villarreal left-back Rodolfo Arruabarrena has been called up to the national team. The last time he wore the national team jersey was in 2000, when he played against Ecuador at the legendary Wembley Stadium and the match ended in a draw.
