On Friday evening, the sixth round of the German "Bundesliga" championship took place, featuring a match between Dortmund's "Borussia" and Hanover clubs. The result of the exciting match ended in a 2-2 draw.

In Dortmund, "Borussia" hosted "Hanover" eleven. In the first half, the home team dominated the field and scored the first goal fairly quickly when in the 6th minute, "Borussia" goalkeeper Ebi Smolarek defeated the visitors' keeper after Floriano Kringe's shot hit the goal post, leaving the Polish player to take all the credit in this situation.
In the 26th minute, "Borussia" newcomer Alexander Frei's header was cleared off the goal line by Vinicius Bergantinas. Just five minutes later, Steven Pienaar sent the ball towards the "Hanover" goal from a long distance.
In the second half, "Hanover" players created a chance out of nowhere when in the 74th minute of the match, Iranian national team forward Vahid Hashemian leveled the score. Shortly after, just two minutes later, E. Smolarek brought his team forward, but with only a few minutes left to play until the end of the match, Hungarian Szabolcs Huszti scored the equalizing goal.
The draw shattered "Borussia's" hopes of briefly enjoying the role of the leader in the German championship, and the team rose only one step up. "Hanover," with five points in the league, currently holds the 14th position.
Playing one game less than the German champion Bayern Munich, the team has the same number of points as "Schalke," but due to a better goal difference, the team takes the first place. Everything could change dramatically on Saturday when "Bayern" plays away against "Wolfsburg," and on Sunday, "Schalke" faces an unusual trip to Leverkusen to clash weapons with the local "Bayer."
