The "A Lyga" 30th round of matches ended on Sunday with a single match. Despite the fact that the neighbors of the tournament table met, there was no intrigue for Lithuanian football fans - "Vilnius" had no trouble at home against "Nevėžis" and crushed them 5-0.
In the 17th minute, newcomer Aivaras Laurišas put the capital's club ahead, with Brazilian Rinaldo scoring after five minutes. In the 33rd and 35th minutes, the second goal from A.Laurišas and the first from Muller left no hope for the young "Nevėžis" team.
In the second half, with a four-goal advantage, the Vilnius team relaxed and scored again towards the end of the match - the fifth goal was scored by Ramūnas Radavičius against Kėdainiai goalkeeper Andrius Strukas. "Vilnius" secured their third victory in the last four matches in the "A Lyga", while "Nevėžis" suffered their fourth consecutive defeat, conceding at least four goals each time.
