The newcomer, defender Ousmane Dabo, dropped out of the team's camp six weeks after injuring his knee ligaments during a team training session and distinguished himself in the "Premier" league matches by being punished for three games.

The 29-year-old player was supposed to return for Saturday's match against "Everton," but suffered an injury on Thursday and will now be out for at least six weeks.

"He injured his knee ligaments during training and now will not play for about a month and a half," confirmed "Man City" manager Stuart Pearce. "The player has already missed three matches but despite that, now he has suffered another injury, which is a huge loss for the team."

O. Dabo left AS Roma's "Lazio" team this summer and moved to "Man City" because after his contract expired with the Italian capital club, he rejected "Lazio's" offer to extend the contract and as a free agent decided to move to England.

The player made an unsuccessful debut in the English "Premier" league - in the match against "Reading," the defender was sent off the field and as a result, received a three-match suspension. Furthermore, his injury further lengthened the list of newly acquired players who are also injured.

Former "Liverpool" defender Dietmar Hamann missed the first four matches of the "Premier" league championship due to a foot injury, defender Hatem Trabelsi played only once, and Swedish national team goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson has not yet made his debut in the English championship because he is plagued by ankle and knee problems.
