Today in the Swiss city of Nyon, the draw for the UEFA Cup group stage took place, with 40 teams being divided into 8 groups.

Tom Danilevicius' team "Livorno" was placed in Group A and will face off against France's "Auxerre," Glasgow's "Rangers," Belgrade's "Partizan," and Haifa's "Maccabi" clubs.

Liberec's "Slovan," which includes Tomas Radzinevicius, will compete in Group C against current UEFA Cup holders "Sevilla," as well as Dutch "AZ," Swiss "Grasshoppers," and Portuguese "Braga."

Each team in their respective group will play one match against each opponent from October 19th to December 14th (a total of 4 matches).

From each group, the top 3 teams will advance to the round of 16, joined by 8 teams who did not qualify for the Champions League knockout stage.

The final of the UEFA Cup tournament will take place on May 16, 2007, at Glasgow's "Hampden Park" stadium.
