Forward Miroslav Klose of the German national team and the Bremen team stated that he would like to try his luck in a foreign league in the near future.
Having shown excellent form in the last two World Cups, the tall footballer received attention from several of the strongest clubs in Spain and England this summer, but decided to stay on Bremen's ground for a while longer.
However, M.Klose, whose current contract is valid until June 2008, assured that "Werder" has a chance to keep him for a longer period if they present a very tempting new contract offer.
"Werder" has the possibility to keep me," said the German.
"But I always worked harder to establish myself and achieve what I want. I don't think there would be a big difference playing in super clubs like Real Madrid or Barcelona."
M.Klose also rejected the possibility of wearing the jersey of Munich's "Bayern": "It is a top-level club, but I want to emphasize that if I decide to leave, it will only be for a foreign team."
