England national team and club defender Joe Cole is ready to return to the "Blues" team after missing the beginning of the season due to an injury.
The 24-year-old defender injured his knee on August 6 in preseason friendly matches in the United States and played only a few minutes in the UEFA Champions League Group A match against Bremen's "Werder."
However, on Tuesday, the player was already training at Chelsea's Cobham training ground and he believes he is ready to return to the main team lineup.
"I appeared there and on the way I don't feel any pain, so I returned and am ready for the upcoming battles," the player told the club's website on Wednesday.
"This injury made me even more eager for football. It was a real nightmare when I couldn't play and realized how much I love this game and now I just want to return to the team and help it," added J.Cole.
J.Cole is likely to appear in Saturday's 8th round of the Premier League match against "Reading" and in the promising Champions League Group A match against "Barcelona" on Wednesday.
This player was also missed by the England national team - last month the player did not help the team in the match against Andorra, which the team won 5-0, with goalless 0-0 matches against Macedonia and did not play in the lost match against Croatia on Wednesday.
J.Cole was replaced on the left flank by "Middlesbrough" defender Stewart Downing, who has not convinced the skeptical British media.
The Champions title holder "Chelsea" is currently in second place in the Premier League and is behind "Man Utd" in the standings due to a worse goal difference.
