The Turin club signed a contract with defender Jonathan Zebina. This 25-year-old French center-back signed a 5-year contract with the Turin club immediately after his contract with the team ended.
Zebina joined the capital footballers in 2000 from "Cagliari", and in the same year won the Italian championship. In total, during the 6 seasons spent in Serie-A league, Zebina played 135 matches and scored one goal.
This contract is the first step of the Turin club in restructuring the team's defense. In the last Italian Serie-A championship, Turin's team conceded a total of 42 goals, finishing in third place in the standings. It is still undisclosed who will replace the team's departing coach Marcello Lippi.
