Two losses were experienced by the Vilnius "Vėtra" club this week - as announced on the official website of the capital club a month earlier than planned, the season ended for goalkeeper Bobi Božinovski due to injury, and Sergejus Kuznecovas was disqualified for one match for receiving a red card.
It is reported that during training, 25-year-old B. Božinovski broke his foot bone. Until the beginning of November, when the Lithuanian championship season is approaching its end, the Macedonian goalkeeper will be in a cast and only after it is removed, medics will decide when he can start playing again. This season, B. Božinovski played 18 matches and scored 1 goal in the "A Lyga" league.
Meanwhile, the Discipline Committee of the Lithuanian Football Federation disqualified "Vėtra" forward S. Kuznecovas for an offense that, as believed, the footballer did not commit - the red card was shown to S. Kuznecovas in the "A Lyga" match against Klaipėda "Atlantas", when the referee Vitalijus Kazlauskas, who did not see the situation, decided to punish the Ukrainian player who was further away from the scene.
Nevertheless, the LFF Discipline Committee imposed a one-match suspension on S. Kuznecovas, which means that the "Vėtra" attacking leader will have to miss the upcoming "A Lyga" match against the nearby Marijampolė "Sūduva" club, their closest pursuer.
