t the club - sad news. 25-year-old defender from Ireland Steven Reid will not be able to play for four months due to a recurring injury.

S.Reid has been out of action for over a month since suffering an injury while playing for the Ireland national team against Germany at the beginning of September.

The injury is characterized by small cracks in the bones, which greatly impairs muscle activity.

Blackburn coach Mark Hughes announced that after S. Reid's visit to doctors, it was revealed that his injury only worsened because the bone cracks are not healing. It is said that the defender will have to miss football for another four months.

Representing Blackburn since 2003, S. Reid is expected to return to the field only in February of next year.
