In the lower Italian league, the multiple-time national champion Turin club and Italy's national team right-back Mauro Camoranesi denied rumors that he is preparing to leave "Stadio delle Alpi" during the January transfer window.
There were reports in the press that several English Premier League clubs were interested in the 30-year-old right-back from Argentina. However, the most likely scenario seemed to be that Mauro Camoranesi would move to the Madrid club "Atletico," where the Italian would replace the injured Maxi Rodriguez, who recently dropped out of the lineup for six months.
However, M. Camoranesi denied all rumors about his transfer to another club: "I want to tie my future to Juventus and help the club return to Serie A, and I am not planning to change my mind."
However, when asked about the next season, Mauro Camoranesi made no promises: "I will stay in Turin until June, when I hope to celebrate the promotion to the top league. Only after the season ends, I will meet with the club management and discuss my future. The club has already agreed on such a plan with me."
Meanwhile, things are going quite well for Juventus in Serie B. The victory against the team "Treviso" in the last round guaranteed them 3 more points, and they are now in second to last place with -1 point, trailing the leader Genoa by 16 points.
