On Tuesday, the first match of the 24th round of the Russian "Premier” League took place - Nalchik's "Spartak” and Yaroslavl's "Shinnik” clubs met, both of which have already forgotten the taste of victory. The victory was celebrated by the league debutant Nalchik team playing at home.

The first half of the match started actively, but without any clear strategy. The ball was all over the field, but there was no logical continuation, and the first dangerous opportunity was created near the "Shinnik” goal at the end of the half.

In the second half, things improved. "Shinnik” tested "Spartak” goalkeeper with a long-range shot, and the guests also did not fall behind and even scored a goal, but it was not counted by the referee.

However, the hosts eventually scored a goal when in the 75th minute a quick attack ended with a precise shot by R. Koncedalov into the bottom corner. A few minutes later, the home team's player G. Gogua could have doubled the score, but was well saved by "Shinnik” goalkeeper I. Blizniukas.

To be honest, after the missed goal, "Shinnik” stopped and in the 81st minute "Spartak” player R. Mostovoj took advantage of it and doubled the score.

At the end of the match, the guests successfully converted a penalty kick into the hosts' goal, but "Shinnik” did not have the strength to do anything more, and the hosts won 2-1. After this defeat, the outsider "Shinnik” only had theoretical chances to remain among the best Russian teams.

The remaining matches of the 24th round will be played today (Wednesday).
