he highest sports authority in Italy, the Arbitration Court of the Olympic Committee (CONI), announced the final decision for four out of the five clubs involved in the corruption scandal - the penalties were reduced for the Turin, Rome, and Juventus clubs, and the appeal was dismissed.

The point deductions for "Lazio" and "Juventus", who compete in Serie B, were reduced by 8 points to 3 and 9 respectively, while "Fiorentina" had a 4-point deduction reduced to 15. The only club that did not benefit from this appeal was "Milan", which remained with an 8-point deficit.

This means that in the Serie A standings, "Lazio" moved up to 12th place with 7 points, overtaking "Milan", "Fiorentina" jumped to 19th place with 0 points, and "Juventus", the second strongest team in the league, climbed to 12th place with 10 points.

The Italian Olympic Committee also decided to cancel plans to force these clubs to play some matches in empty stadiums, instead ordering the clubs to pay fines.

"Milan" and "Juventus" will have to pay back all the money earned from the first matches of the season to the federation, "Lazio" - for the first two matches of the season, and "Fiorentina" - for the first three.
