Spanish superclub Real Madrid's English defender David Beckham denied recent rumors about his return to England and once again confirmed that he intends to stay in Madrid.

Recently, there have been rumors that the English national team defender did not like living in Spain, and it was claimed that he would return to England. London club owner Roman Abramovich has repeatedly stated his desire to see this star in his club.

For this reason, the Englishman released a statement to reassure both his and Real Madrid's fans.

"I have a long-term contract with Real and have already settled in Spain," Beckham stated in the release. "I have only played one season here and have not yet completed my job. The club's fans strongly support the team and me, and I hope we will repay them with victories."

This season, Real Madrid finished empty-handed - losing 3-2 in extra time to Zaragoza in the final of the King's Cup, being defeated by Monaco in the semi-finals of the Champions League, and currently holding 3rd place in the Spanish championship with one round to go.
