dinburgh strategist Lithuanian Valdas Ivanauskas stated "not yet ready to return to the club's helm" and will most likely extend his forced "vacation".

V. Ivanauskas recently requested a two-week break, which he intended for health reasons, and was supposed to return to the helm of "Hearts" next week.

"Next Tuesday I will be examined by doctors and then something will become clear," - said the Lithuanian to "Edinburgh Evening News".

"I already feel better, but I am not completely healthy yet. I am not ready to return," - said V. Ivanauskas. - "I don't think I will return next week. Maybe I will return after the medical examination next Tuesday, but I need a doctor's recommendation. They say I look not bad, but I still need a little time."

"My health is very important because this job requires a lot of nerves. I hope to recover soon and then I can return to the team's helm," - said the strategist.

"Hearts" is currently managed by former "FBK Kaunas" head coach Eduardas Malofejevas in the absence of V. Ivanauskas, performing the functions of the sports director at the Edinburgh club.

Lately, there has been a tense atmosphere in the Scottish vice-champions club: before last weekend's match with "Dunfermline", team owner Vladimir Romanov stated that he would sell all the players if they didn't win. The match ended 1-1.

After this statement from the owner of "Ukio Bankas", team captain Steven Pressley released a statement demanding stability within the team and expressing support for Valdas Ivanauskas.
