The club defender is the last player to supplement the list of injured players of the Spanish club - after tests conducted on Monday, it was revealed that the Italian will not play for about three months due to injury.
The Spanish "Primera" league club announced that the 25-year-old full-back suffered a tear in the left knee ligaments during the country's championship match in the 9th round between Espanyol and Barcelona, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
