On Tuesday, the eleventh round of the Bundesliga started, in which both leading teams in the league achieved victories - the absolute leaders of the championship "Werder" managed to overcome the second season's failure "Nurnberg" club with a score of 2-1 as guests, while after the season break, the "Stuttgart" players returned to the leaders' ranks and won 2-0 against the struggling "Hamburger" team at home.

In the match between "Nurnberg" and "Werder", the guests took the lead first, and T.Frings scored a goal from 20 meters in the 32nd minute. At the end of the match, the home team's goalkeeper, Raphael Schäfer, had to pick the ball out of the net again after the sixth goal in the Bundesliga scored by the new club's successful signing from Bremen, the Brazilian Diego. The home team managed to soften the result during added time, but could not escape defeat.

After a successful start to the season, the "Nurnberg" team failed to maintain successful results and have yet to win a match since mid-August. Winning for the seventh time, Bremen's "Werder" maintained its leadership positions.

The "Stuttgart" team managed to break the injury-plagued "Hamburger" only at the very end of the match - T.Hitzlsperger and the league's top scorer, M.Gomez, scored in the last ten minutes, with Gomez scoring his seventh goal.

M.Gomez's scoring ability is closely followed by M.Hanke, who contributed to the third consecutive victory for "Wolfsburg" - they beat the "Mainz" team away with a score of 2-1, marking their fifth defeat in the last eight matches.
