27th round: "Torpedo" bids farewell to "Premier" League © EuroFootball.com

On Wednesday, all day long there were matches of the 27th round in the Russian Premier League. The leaders were unexpectedly upset - Lokomotiv and CSKA lost away, while Spartak failed to defeat Saturn away. Meanwhile, Dynamo secured a place in the next season's Premier League by playing a draw with Moskva and sent Torpedo down, which will have to bid farewell for a while after a break of more than 50 years.

The first match was between Rostov's Rostov and Vladivostok's Luch-Energia footballers. Both teams had already successfully completed the task of not being relegated, so this match did not mean anything to them. The hosts were more active, but in the first half they failed to score. Only at the beginning of the second half, Rostov's main sniper M. Osinov scored. After the goal, the hosts did not relax, but there were no more goals in the match. The result was a 1-0 victory for the Rostov team.

In Tomsk, Lokomotiv from Moscow visited, which is not playing very successfully with a new coach and after a long time may even end the championship without any medals. Despite the fact that Lokomotiv needed points more, the first ten minutes on the field were dominated by the hosts, Tom. Only after some time Lokomotiv got used to it and even scored a goal, but the referee did not count it.

The breakthrough in the match came in the 35th minute when Lokomotiv's striker P. Pogrebniak probably fell the fastest in Tom's penalty area. The referee not only awarded a penalty kick but also sent V. Evseev off the field. Tom successfully converted the penalty kick through B.Krunich.

The second half started with mutual attacks, and in the 52nd minute the referee removed Tom's player from the field for a second yellow card, and Lokomotiv managed to equalize the score after D. Loskov's strike.

The equal score did not last long, as in the 70th minute P. Pogrebniak scored a goal after a Lokomotiv goalkeeper mistake. It was not the last goal of this player, as shortly after he converted a penalty kick into Lokomotiv's net, solidifying the hosts' victory. Lokomotiv vigorously attacked and the Tomsk team had the opportunity to increase the score, but it remained 3-1 in favor of Tom.

In Perm, the local Amkar met Spartak from Nalchik. Spartak immediately began to press Amkar players and tried to overcome the hosts' goalkeeper with long shots. However, at the beginning of the second half, Spartak missed a goal after a set piece - Vitaly Grishin scored. The second half went on the same way as the first - Spartak attacked, and Amkar defended, but the guests failed to equalize and lost 1-0.

In Moscow, there were controversial changes in the match between Krylia Sovetov and CSKA before the game. It was said that the winner of this match would be CSKA, but a few hours before the match, announcements appeared in the Russian sports media online that Spartak Moscow was motivating Krylia Sovetov with a good amount of money.

The match started with attacks from the hosts and the CSKA players began to make mistakes in defense quite quickly. The hosts did not capitalize on the opportunities, and CSKA's R. Carvalho's efforts tried to achieve a favorable result.

However, the "army men" conceded a goal in the 29th minute when jumping higher than everyone else after a corner kick in the CSKA penalty area, K. Dochujanas scored a goal with his head. Later, Krylia Sovetov's advantage could have been doubled, but the hosts did not take another chance.

In the second half, CSKA attacked and at times it seemed that CSKA defense was being handled by only one D. Šemberas, who gave away a penalty by bringing down the home team's forward M. Topic in the penalty area. The penalty kick was successfully converted by M. Booth, and later the hosts could have scored a couple more goals. In the unexpected match, Krylia Sovetov won 2-0.

In Yaroslavl, the outsider Shinnik was crushed by visitors from Kazan. Right at the beginning, Shinnik missed a goal from Rubin, and at the end of the first half, they had the opportunity to equalize with a penalty kick, but they did not, and from the 56th minute after conceding four and scoring one consolation goal, they lost 5-1.

In Moscow, Torpedo met with guests from St. Petersburg, Zenit. Torpedo, who had nothing to lose, immediately started attacking the guests' goal and forced the Zenit goalkeeper to work. Despite Torpedo's efforts, Zenit scored two goals in the first half. The visitors managed to beat the home team's goalkeeper twice - A. Arshavin and L.Ho.

In the second half, Torpedo's player P. Mamayev managed to score a goal, and it seemed that the hosts would equalize because sometimes Zenit players struggled to deal with Torpedo's attacks, but the result did not change, and Zenit won. This result meant that Torpedo will move to the first division next season, the first time since 1938 that the Moscow club will not be among the strongest teams.

In Moscow, two local clubs were squaring off - Dynamo and Moskva. Dynamo dominated the field in the first half, but the Moskva team defended discipline and had a couple of good chances to beat Z. Karčemarskas. Meanwhile, Dynamo only created something similar to a dangerous chance at the end of the first half.

After the first half, Dynamo started to play more actively, as the result of the Torpedo - Zenit match inspired them during the break, and in the middle of the second half, the "policemen" scored a goal - Derlei received the ball and shot into Moskva's goal, taking the hosts ahead.

Four minutes later, by the efforts of Moskva's D. Kirichenko and the unsuccessful play of Dynamo players in the penalty area, they equalized, and later Moskva had the opportunity to steal a victory, but the tempo of the game slowed down, and the teams finished the match in a draw 1-1. For Dynamo with Z. Karčemarskas and R. Poškus, this point and Torpedo's failure meant that regardless of a tragic season, the team remains in the Russian Premier League.

In the last round match, Saturn from Ramenskoye faced Spartak from Moscow. Spartak had a great opportunity to catch up with CSKA, who unexpectedly lost in Samara, but the guests managed to earn only one point.

With five minutes remaining in the match, Spartak took the lead after M. Kalinin's penalty kick, but in extra time Saturn's forward I. Lebedenko equalized with a header. The match ended with a score of 1-1, and now with two rounds left, Spartak is three points behind the leading CSKA.
