Former Sweden national team goalkeeper Magnus Hedman has received an offer from London to take up the position of third goalkeeper until the end of the season.
"We have an agreement," - said the 33-year-old M. Hedman to the Swedish television channel TV4 on Monday.
Former Glasgow Celtic and Coventry goalkeeper ended his professional career in 2005 and has since worked as an expert for TV4.
London's Chelsea is looking for a third goalkeeper after the head injury suffered by Czech national team goalkeeper Petr Cech. The Swede is expected to take up the position of third goalkeeper after Italian Carlo Cudicini and Portuguese Henrique Hilario.
According to TV4, M. Hedman is currently on his way to London where he is expected to officially sign a contract until the end of the season.
