"Serie A" champions Milan will have to do without former French national team defender Olivier Dacourt next month, as he suffered a thigh injury and will only join the team after the winter break. Tests have confirmed that the injury is serious, and the defender will miss approximately four weeks of matches. The 32-year-old veteran injured his left thigh in the 1-0 win in the UEFA Champions League match against Lisbon's "Sporting" on Wednesday, in which "Inter" secured a spot in the next round of the tournament. The footballer will miss the last prestigious European tournament match on December 5 against German champions Bayern Munich, who have also advanced to the next stage of the competition. In Group B, it remains only a formality to determine who will take the first place. The Frenchman, who left Roma last summer and signed a contract with Inter, has played 11 matches for his new team and also appeared in five UEFA Champions League games. O.
