Liverpool secured a narrow win over Man City with Gerrard's goal. Reading defeated Fulham with a penalty, and Bolton emerged victorious against Arsenal.
After these results, Middlesbrough moved up to 13th place, West Ham climbed to 16th, while Aston Villa reached 5th place. Reading now occupies the 7th position, and Bolton rose to 3rd place, while Arsenal fell to 6th.
