Within the ranks of the London club, there are some not-so-good news. One of the team leaders, 26-year-old Robbie Keane, will not be able to play for more than a month due to a ligament strain and will only return to the field in January.
Airis got injured in Tuesday's "Premier League" match against "Middlesbrough" immediately after scoring the winning goal for his team at the end of the game. He was substituted in the last moments of the match.
According to doctors, the recovery from the injury will take up to six weeks.
The injury to R. Keane of Tottenham is a double blow. Besides Airis, another forward, Egyptian Mido, is also undergoing treatment for an injury, so currently there are only two healthy forwards in the team - Englishman Jermain Defoe and Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov.
