On Wednesday and Thursday, the last three Italian Cup round of 16 second leg matches were played. After them, it became clear that the club represented by a Lithuanian did not reach the quarterfinals, losing to the "Serie B" team "Arezzo".

After a 1-2 defeat as visitors, "Livorno" players took the lead first after Paulinho's goal. This result would have satisfied the hosts, but with 11 minutes left to play, the visitors scored the equalizer, which guaranteed them a ticket to the next stage. The Lithuanian played the entire game.

In other matches, "Empoli" beat "Genoa" for the second time with the same result of 1-0, while "Parma", after losing to "Napoli" as visitors, took revenge at home with the necessary goal difference.

Earlier, Marius Stankevicius' "Brescia" club ended their Italian Cup run after conceding a 2-4 and 1-2 defeat to "Milan".
