Brazilian national team and Real Madrid forward Ronaldo is very pleased that he finally managed to score and break the "goal drought".

Ronaldo scored two goals (one from a penalty kick) at the end of Wednesday's Champions League match in Kiev against the local team "Dynamo" and helped his team secure a draw. The last time the Brazilian scored in the Champions League was exactly two years ago, in a match against "Roma".

Lately criticized for his weight gain and plagued by injuries, the "Real" forward scored a goal in the last weekend's victorious match in the "Primera" league against "Athletic" Bilbao. However, this was only his first goal in the Spanish championship.

"For two years I couldn't score in Europe, and now this moment is wonderful. I am very happy because after recovering from the injury, I scored three goals in two matches. Two years in the Champions League without scoring is like a curse, but during that time I didn't play much. My goal is to show good form. I am still the same Ronaldo, and I can help 'Real' with my goals," joyfully spoke the Brazilian.

By the way, Ronaldo promised to a Madrid radio station in the fall that he would score 30 goals this season, and described his teammate, Englishman David Beckham, as the perfect partner to score goals: "D. Beckham is a wonderful player, because on the field I feel a harmony playing with him, and he adapts perfectly to my style of play. It pleasantly surprises me."
