Managers of the London club officially confirmed on Monday that they have dismissed head coach Alan Pardew.
At the moment, the team is in the 18th position in the English Premier League and has experienced three painful defeats in a row. This weekend, West Ham failed to seriously resist Bolton and were defeated by 0-4.
"A.Pardew has helped us greatly since the beginning of his work in 2003, but the results of this season are very disappointing," - stated in the official announcement.
"Club chairman Eggert Magnusson and other members believe that now is the right time for changes for the good of the team."
Temporary guidance of the London team will be taken over by one of the coaches, Kevin Keen, but it is said that the search for a new strategist has already begun, which is expected to be completed before the transfer window opens in January.
Currently, rumors are circulating that the most likely candidate to take over the vacant position is former Charlton coach Alan Curbishley.
