London-based goalkeeper Petr Cech, who had a fractured skull, is already recovering after surgery and hopes to start training at full strength in the middle of January.
"Every day I feel better and better. I am starting to train little by little. Exercises in the gym and pool help me feel better. Last week was great because I started working. If everything continues to progress successfully, by mid-January I will be able to stand in goal during training," said the Czech goalkeeper to "Chelsea TV."
Let's remind that 24-year-old P. Cech suffered a serious injury on October 14 during a "Premier" league match against "Reading" when opponent Stephen Hunt's foot hit his head. Cech suffered a fractured skull and later had two metal plates inserted in his head during surgeries.
For now, it is still difficult for "Chelsea" goalkeeper to handle a heavier physical load: "Of course, I get tired during training because my body is still exhausted. I work hard twice a day, so by the evening, I am tired," said the best Czech football player of the past season.
However, Petr Cech does not lose his enthusiasm and hope: "The skull has not healed yet, but I am patient and hope that everything will be fine soon, and I will be able to return to the field."
